Our sandy loamy top soil is a mix of top soil, sand and a small amount of compost which ensures aeration, drainage and root growth, water holding capacity and soil fertility. It is screened at 15mm making it easy to level around your garden. It is a great multi-purpose top soil and is ideal for turfing, seeding or flowerbeds, and can also be used for top dressing.
British Sugar Tol Soil (BS3882)
AJ Grab Hire Ltd can supply and deliver British Sugar top soil on tipper lorries or grab lorries. We can supply relevant testing paperwork to ensure you comply with what is needed on your project. Various tested soils we can supply include hortloam, sports and turf, lawn dressing, landscape 20 and subsoil.
Standard Top Soil (Turfing grade)
We can supply and deliver a standard top soil which is screened at 20mm. This soil is ideal for under turf or building up areas. There is a slight small grit content, which helps with drainage.
Compost
We can supply and deliver multi-purpose compost that is produced by the aerobic withdraw technique. Adding compost to soil concentrates organic matter and leaves nutrients to be slowly released when your plants need them.
Bark Mulch
We can supply and deliver a multi-purpose budget-grade bark mulch. This is a great product to put over areas of soil in between planting, helping suppress weeds and at the same time retaining moisture in the soil.
Our Top Soils, Bark Mulch and Compost can be delivered in 5-20 tonne loads – bagged or loose.
